I was very skeptical on calling a local home buying company for many reasons. I also didn't want to use a Realtor and have people marching through my home when I was not around. I really wanted a reasonable cash offer and close on my terms which was exactly what I got with Glen from Polk County House Buyers. He showed up on time, explained the entire process from start to finish, walked through my home never pointing out the need for updating and gave me an offer that to my surprise was more than I was expecting. I needed to close 2 months from the offer which Glen understood, set up the escrow with a local Title Company who provided me with all the info I needed from my end and we closed on the day of my choice. I was so impressed that Glen always answered my calls and never tried to re-negotiate the deal which was one of my fears. He did exactly what he said he would do!!! I will recommend his services over and over, they are an absolute pleasure to work with... Nelson, Lakeland, Fl.
I called Polk County House Buyers and set up an appointment to view our home on a Saturday at 9 am. Glen showed up on time, sat down with my wife and I to discuss our situation that seemed hopeless. We walked through the home inside and out where Glen discussed how the entire process worked. He made us a very reasonable offer which we accepted, signed a contract and closed within 10 day's. Much to our surprise even though he said we will close ASAP, our situation made it seem that we would lose our home to Foreclosure prior to selling it. Polk County House Buyers did the impossible and not only saved our credit but put over $57,000 in our pocket at closing which we would have lost if Glen had not saved us from the inevitable!!! We can't thank him enough for what he did for us and would highly recommend Polk County House Buyers to anyone out there that needs to sell their home for any reason. They are extremely professional, respective, honest and really know what they are doing. The entire process was simple and fast, we are still amazed at the outcome. Sincerely, Jesse & StaceyJesse
"Quite often investors are willing to pay cash for a home and with the recent tightening of financial restrictions, coupled with the growing number of complaints about low appraisals, having a cash buyer has become even more appealing."
